Roundtable Presenters:

LK Nandam, Secretary, Florida Department of Transportation District One

L.K. Nandam, P.E. is the District Secretary for District One of the Florida Department of Transportation. He has over twenty-two years experience in the transportation industry in both the private and public sector. He has a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Andhra University, India and a Masters of Science in Transportation Engineering from Wayne State University. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida and is an active member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.


Debi (Brady) Wolfe, M.S.O.D., SHRM-SCP, Chief People Officer, Hays U.S.
Debi Wolfe brings more than 18 years of leadership experience in the staffing industry to her role at Hays where she oversees all matters relating to people, culture and strategy. During her career, she has served as President of a specialty staffing division and Sr. VP of Human Resources & Organizational Development of a large publicly traded staffing company. In her personal time, Debi is deeply involved with orphan care and education in Malawi, Africa as well as other community service projects. She and her husband enjoy spending their free time cycling, traveling, or hiking.

Amy Dixon, Transportation Coordinator, Orlando VA
Amy Dixon joined the Veterans Health Administration in Orlando in 2007.  She worked for the Director’s office for eight years before transitioning over to Fiscal Service as an Accounting Technician.  She has served as the Transit Benefit Manager and Employee Debt Manager for the past three years.  Since taking over the Transit Program, the number of vanpools has increased by 60 percent, and she hopes the numbers continue to grow!

Sommer Sherrod, Vice President – Employee Benefits/Human Resources, IOA-Insurance Office of America
Sommer Sherrod is a highly regarded Healthcare Strategist, Human Resources thought leader, and former Adjunct Professor. Sommer brings a unique perspective having spent her career solving a myriad of Human Resources challenges in a variety of industries and Fortune 100 companies. Sommer chose Insurance Office of America because it is the largest independent insurance, Employee Benefits and Risk Management firm in the state of Florida.

Mike Ronskavitz, Chief of Staff, Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization

Michael Ronskavitz, is the chief operating officer of the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and is responsible for leading all internal operations under the direction of the executive director. Michael brings 30 years of progressively responsible planning experience in Broward County, starting his career at the Broward MPO in 1990. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration which includes a Certification in Communications.
