April 25, 2017:  In this free webinar, Shared Employer Shuttles: Sharing the Road and the Savings, three speakers from US employers sharing the cost of shuttle services explored topics such as high-tech long haul shuttles, a partnership with a microtransit provider, and transportation management association (TMA) members sharing connections to suburban rail stations.

Private employer shuttles are an effective tool for lowering single occupant vehicle (SOV) rate from areas not well-served by existing public transit, attracting and retaining top talent, and enhancing employee productivity. But operating shuttle service can also be incredibly expensive for employers.

Tom Harrington of Intuit, Matt Frykman of Glassdoor, and Tim Grzesiakowski of TMA Lake Cook each discussed how they chose their shuttle solutions, the benefits, and the challenges their organizations face in the rapidly changing transportation market.

Co-sponsored by Association for Commuter Transportation’s Employer Council and Best Workplaces for Commuters (BWC).  BWC is a program of the National Center for Transit Research at CUTR.
