Seeking Your Success Stories
How have you
used Best Workplaces for CommutersSM
to promote commuter benefits?
A key advantage of the BWC Network is the ability of BWC Network
members from across the country to share their best practices
and lessons learned in promoting commuter benefits. Soon, the
BWC Network will start showcasing on our web-page BWC Network
members who have successfully incorporated Best Workplaces for
Commuters into their commuter benefits outreach programs and the
materials that they've created which have proven successful in
getting more people out of their cars and into public transit,
carpooling, telecommuting, etc.
If you have a success story to share that you think will help
fellow BWC Network members, please email us at bwc@epa.gov
and write "BWC Network Success Story" in the subject
line.

Going to the 2004 ACT International Conference
in New Orleans, LA September 19-22?
If so, don't miss the Tuesday
BWC Network session!
During the BWC Network breakout session on Tuesday, 9/21 at 10:30am,
we will be introducing participants to the BWC Network and the
tools and resources available to Network members. Additionally,
participants will break into work groups during which they will
evaluate scenarios and issues that many in the TDM community regularly
face when promoting commuter benefits to employers. Using their
own experiences along with BWC tools and resources available at
the session, participants will
develop practical solutions and plans that can be adapted to local
TDM outreach programs.
We hope to see you at the ACT conference this year! For details
about the 2004 ACT International Conference information and registration
information, visit the ACT
Web site.
