Step 3: Establish Key Dates

While your campaign will have many important milestones, your application deadline for employers and media announcement date are two key dates. Be sure to allow at least four weeks between the deadline for employers to apply and the media announcement date. This will allow enough time to verify that employers qualify so you can finalize the list of Best Workplaces for CommutersSM and prepare your employer recognition and media outreach materials.

Also, be sure to give employers enough time to apply prior to the deadline. Remember, employers will need time to work through their internal decision-making process regarding the application.
