Best Workplaces for CommutersSM List Release Guide

What is a BWC List Release?

A BWC List Release is simply a public (usually media) announcement of the local list of BWC employers. The BWC list is defined geographically, by metro area or region. Excitement about announcing the list and, for employers, about being on the list, is generated by a series of outreach activities and by setting a deadline by which employers must apply for the BWC designation. The list release strategy has been very successful in generating media coverage for both BWC employers and for those organizations that provide transportation services in the area.

This guide will make it easy for you to successfully release a BWC List in your community. Review the links below or use the navigation to the right throughout the kit for general tips and sample materials to help guide you through each step.
