About Best Workplaces for Commuters^SM Community Coordinators

In communities across the country, local leaders—or "coordinators"—are partnering with CUTR to produce Best Workplaces for Commuters^SM list releases. These coordinators, working with coalitions of other supporters, agree to actively encourage employers in their region to apply for a local list of Best Workplaces for Commuters. At the conclusion of a series of outreach efforts, the coordinators announce or "release" the local BWC list to the media, bringing recognition to the employers that made the list.

Individuals or organizations interested in managing a local BWC list release should start by visiting the List Release Guide. The List Release Guide was originally developed by EPA and is now maintained by CUTR, the lead organization overseeing Best Workplaces for Commuters.
