![]() |
More than 10 percent of commuters in the Greater Tucson Area work at employers on the list of Best Workplaces for Commutersa higher percentage than any other metro region in the United States. Working together, each of the outstanding employers on the list goes a long way towards reducing traffic congestion and keeping the air clean, helping Tucson remain one of the region's most popular locales.
On May 19, Pima Association of Governments and a host of other
local organizations announced the 2004 list of
the Greater Tucson Area's Best Workplaces for Commuters at a special
awards ceremony. Held at the University of Arizona's Student Union Ballroom,
this special event was moderated by Josh Pastner, Assistant Coach of the
University of Arizona's Men's Basketball team, and featured a presentation
by JoAnn Cotomo, a prominent motivational speaker. For more details visit
