Valley of the Sun's Best Workplaces for Commuters^SM

Employers in the Valley of the Sun—the Greater Phoenix area—who qualified as Best Workplaces for Commuters^SM can put a feather in their corporate hats for offering their employees the highest level of commuter benefits, resulting in reduced traffic congestion and air pollution. These employers are helping improve the quality of life for Valley residents and visitors alike.

On June 23, 2004, a coalition of environmental, transportation, and community groups announced the 2004 Valley of the Sun's list of Best Workplaces for Commuters at Bank One Ballpark. The list, which was comprised of 60 Phoenix-area employers that represented more than 83,000 workers, spotlighted the area employers that offer the very best when it comes to commuter benefits.

Meet the Coalition

Meet the members of the Valley of the Sun's Best Workplaces for Commuters Coalition, the group that is supporting the campaign. Led by Valley Metro Regional Planning Transportation Agency, the coalition includes leading organizations from throughout Phoenix area. Valley Metro/RPTA works to improve air quality, reduce traffic congestion, and encourage commuters to utilize the transportation options available in the Valley of the Sun.
