Do We Qualify as a Best Workplaces for CommutersSM District?

Preview the District Application FormAnswering "yes" to all of these questions means your area qualifies as a Best Workplaces for CommutersSM District!

1) Does your proposed District have distinct boundaries such as a business park, downtown district, shopping mall or building?

2) Does someone other than the employers in your District pay for and provide most or all of the commuter benefits that meet the National Standard of Excellence?

3) Are the same benefits offered equally to everyone who works in the District?

4) Is there an Administrator of the proposed District who will:

  • submit an application for the Best Workplaces for Commuters District designation, including a list of employers and number of employees within the District

  • act as the point of contact for communications with CUTR about the Best Workplaces for Commuters program

  • centralize information on commuter benefits for use by those who work in the District

  • promote the commuter benefits to everyone who works in the District

  • update contact and benefits information on an annual basis

  • work with CUTR to provide information on how your commuters get to work
